Playing Guild Wars 2 Gameplay on Mac OSX
Guild Wars 2 Gameplay on Virtual Machine on Mac MacBook Pro Retina
Step 1. Install a virtualization software on your Mac. I installed Parallels 7 on my MacBook Pro with Retina Display.
Step 2. Create a virtual machine and install Windows. I installed Windows XP.
Step 3. Give additional resources to the virtual machine. I gave 4 CPU, 4 GB of RAM, and 1 GB of video RAM.
Step 4. Install Guild Wars 2 on the virtual machine that's running Windows. I bought the DVD so I had to use a external USB DVD reader to install my game. You can also register your game with GuildWars2.com first and download the full game. This will be quicker than what I did.
That's it. After it finishes installing, it will prompt you to create an account with Guildwars2.com if you haven't done so before. Afterward, you can log in and start playing.
