Fatherhood - Pediatrician Visit 2 Months (HD)
We took Marcus to the pediatrician's office for his 8 week checkup. It was also time for him to get his vaccinations. One was administered orally in a liquid form. Two shots were giving in his left leg and another shot was giving in his right leg.
The vaccinations were for DTaP, Pneumococcal, Hib, and Rotavirus (oral).
He started crying the moment the first needle went in. And by the time we brought him to the car he already passed out.
The first thing we did was head to the local pharmacy to pick up infant acetaminophen. It was more precautionary. In case he develops a fever later, at least we would have one on hand.
He felt a bit warm in the afternoon and his face was still flushed. After dinner, his color started to return and he was calmer and more playful.
With every doctor visit I feel it's important to bring a receiving blanket, diaper, and a pacifier.
Thanks for watching!
